Black brilliance has always existed. Before classrooms were built, before textbooks were written, before history was recorded by those in power, our people were inventing, creating, discovering, and shaping the world. That brilliance did not begin as a response to oppression. It has always been our birthright.

But for generations, that truth was hidden. The inventors, scientists, and visionaries who built the foundation of modern life were intentionally left out of our classrooms. Their names were erased. Their contributions were attributed to others or forgotten entirely. And Black children were introduced to their history through slavery first. That single moment shaped how we saw ourselves, what we believed we deserved, and how high we thought we could rise.

Today, books are being banned. Stories are being erased. And truths are being distorted all over again. The cost of continuing this cycle is too high.

Crown Our Future was created to be a cultural shift. We teach children to see Black excellence first. We bring forward the forgotten inventors, scientists, and visionaries whose genius changed the world, but whose names remain unknown. We pair each story with affirmations, so children speak confidently into their own lives. And we invite parents to sit beside their children and rediscover the brilliance we were never taught.

Within two weeks of publishing, Amazon named "Color Our Truth, Crown Our Future: Inventors & Scientists Edition" the number one new release in children's biographies. But this is bigger than a rating. This is about reversing a cycle. This is about making sure our children know they come from brilliance and excellence, not just survival.

Who These Books Are For
